Description :
  • Support the Maintenance and improvement of the site-wide Quality Management and Food Safety System (ISO 9001:2015 and BRCGS Packaging).
  • Maintain the Quality Customer Complaint system, coordinate timely complaint reporting and resolution, achieve accurate record keeping and effective reduction in complaints.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis and support quality investigations.
  • Co-ordinate control of non-conformance, in-process, finished and returned products including assessment and disposal.
  • Undertake testing and collection of data for statistical analysis and generate reports.
  • Coordinate the internal audit plan. Conduct and issue internal audits of standards, processes, Good Manufacturing Practice, Housekeeping and Hygiene, perform traceability and recall tests; identify non- conformance and opportunities for improvement.
  • Host/facilitate Third Party Audits.
  • Support customers with quality issues and enquiries.
  • Maintain and assist with the review and improvement of QMS controlled documentation.
  • Support the training and development of employees with Quality and Food Safety requirements; assist with the development and continual improvement of our Product Safety and Quality Culture.
  • Coordinate Calibration and verification of quality testing equipment and maintain the Calibration Register.
  • Support the management of Cleaning and Pest Control Contractors.
  • Deputise for the Quality Manager to meet business demands.
Requirements :
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is Essential but not necessarily in the Cardboard Industry.
  • Competent Microsoft Office user (Essential).
  • Conversant with ISO 9001 and/or BRCGS standards (Essential).
  • Internal or lead Auditor trained (Essential).
  • HACCP/HARA experience (Desirable).
  • Understanding of 8D, FMEA, 5-Why and other quality tools (Desirable).
  • Able to prioritise workload independently and demonstrate initiative.
  • Work accurately with attention to detail.
